Greetings fellow investors. I hope that you are all having great and profitable months.
The end of the month is once again coming our way too quickly for me. It seems to happen every few weeks or so, doesn’t it? =)
This month’s meeting will be on Thursday, July 30th. As always, we’ll be there at 6:30 for networking and mingling and the meeting will officially start at 7:00.
Our guest speaker is Sloan Clinton, an accountant with JPMS Cox, PLLC here in Little Rock. I’ve asked him to come and talk to us about the tax and accounting topics that we need to know about while we are in real estate, specifically passive activity losses and the real estate professional IRS designation. Don’t have any idea what I’m talking about? That’s exactly why you need to be there. This meeting alone could save you enough money for a lifetime membership to CARREIA. =)
Here’s a quick bullet-point bio of Sloan:

Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from U of A, Fayetteville
Master of Accountancy from U of A, Fayetteville

We’ll see you there!
